Date1904 - PresentLocationChapelDescriptionThe Chapel was first established in School House in 1904. It wasn't until 1910 when Saint Barnabas' Chapel moved to the school from Bishopscourt [Parnell].
In 1922, the Chapel was enlarged with the addition of a spacious new nave dedicated to Our Glorified Lord. This was consecrated on 3rd November by Archbishop Averill. It was built onto the western side of the Saint Barnabas' Chapel and was linked to it by a series of archways.
Over the years there have been multiple additions including the installation of a new organ in 1959 and the porch was built in 1978. In 1986 more changes occurred with the altar of Saint Barnabas' being brought forward and windows reopened. In 2004 the pews from both chapels were replaced with wooden chairs.
Between the summer holidays of 2014/2015, the chapel was closed down for seismic strengthening but as of 2024 the chapel is again closed down for restoration and more seismic strengthening and won't reopen until mid-late 2025.
