Dr Sandra Hastie joined Diocesan School for Girls in term 2 2026, arriving from Somerville House, one of Queensland’s preeminent academic girls’ schools where she served as Principal. Prior to Somerville House, she was Principal of Rangi Ruru Girls’ School in Christchurch. Her previous senior leadership roles include Principal of Saint Kentigern Girls’ School, as well as Head of Primary for both Saint Kentigern Schools.
